Jim Edmon is a local artist and Graphic Designer. He received his BFA in Graphic Design at Eastern KY University and moved to Lexington in l984. He opened his business, Edmon Design, located above Third Street Stuff, in 1990 and has lived in Bell Court for about 8 years.
His “accidental narratives” as he calls them, have evolved from textural expressions on canvas to working 3 dimensionally on wood. The flexibility of wood allows him to incorporate carving, texturing and painting while telling a story through his mixed media “narratives”.
