Monica d. Church has a B.A. from Bennington College, her M.F.A. from the University of Kentucky and studied photography at Vassar College. In Spring 2014 she participated in the 50th Anniversary Voyage of University of Virginia’s Semester at Sea. Embarking from San Diego, California for 112-day journey with 554 students visiting 16 ports and 12 countries.
For the past two decades, Church has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, including Scotland, Ireland, Chicago, Texas, New York, Vermont, among others. In 2006-07, Church’s work was included in Four Points of View: Figuration in Printmaking at La Galleria Nacional del Centro Costarricense de Ciencia y Cultura in San Jose, Costa Rica. She has won numerous awards and fellowships for her work.
Monica d. Church lives in New York’s Hudson Valley and is the Associate Director of the James W. Palmer ’90 Gallery at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
